Built by operators, for operators.
Mako is a Forge1 Group company building the intelligence layer for customer conversations — for industries where the quality and speed of follow-up decide the deal.
What Mako is
Mako Engine is a CRM-independent AI intelligence layer. It connects to the systems a business already runs, understands what is happening in each conversation, decides what should happen next, and hands that back as something the CRM can act on. Reviving a dormant database is one thing it is very good at. It is not the definition — it is one job among many that the same engine can do.
About Forge1
Mako is part of Forge1 Group — a Canadian software company building practical tools for fast-moving industries. Mako Engine is engineered independently, sold separately, and run as its own business line.
An operator thesis.
Business systems hold enormous amounts of customer information and understand none of it. The record is complete, the history is right there, and the software still cannot tell anyone what should happen next. So it waits for a person who is already busy.
The gap is not storage and it is not messaging. It is judgment. A system that could read a conversation, work out the state of it, and decide the next move would make every CRM already deployed more valuable — without replacing any of them.
Intelligence should be a layer, not a platform migration. Your CRM keeps the record; Mako supplies the decision. That is why it connects rather than replaces, and why leaving costs you nothing structural.
